🧱 Play Stack online
Stack online means real opponents, not scripted bots: blocks.pw matches you against actual humans (or the friends you personally intend to humiliate), and every round of precision under pressure is scored live. All of it runs in the browser tab you already have open.
How online play works
Two ways in. Quick match pairs you with opponents from around the world — play your rounds, the server settles the score, your ELO moves. Or create a challenge link: you play first, send the link anywhere, and the duel completes whenever your opponent plays their half. No lobby, no waiting room, no "friend request pending".
The async format is the quiet superpower: online doesn't mean simultaneously online. Your opponent can be eight time zones away and the duel still works.
Is online Stack fair with lag?
Yes — because nothing you do waits for the network. Your precision under pressure is measured on your own device, then results are compared server-side. A spotty connection can delay the scoreboard, but it can't slow your block, eat your tap or fake your time. Ping is not an excuse here, which some players find liberating and others find deeply inconvenient.
How to play Stack
- A block slides side to side above a fixed base.
- Tap to drop it. One drop — no undo, no second run.
- Your score is the overlap: how much of your block landed on the base.
- Better alignment than your opponent takes the round.
